At The Tuition Centre, we believe that learning goes beyond textbooks. Our students had the unique opportunity to explore the world of cheese and wool production through a series of hands-on experiences that brought science and agriculture to life. From an engaging talk by Prof. Gary Osthoff to a visit to UFS Woolwise, it was a day filled with discovery, curiosity, and (to everyone’s delight) cheese tasting!
From farm to fabric… and cheese!
The Tuition Centre students visited UFS Woolwise at the UFS Agriculture Experimental Farm. They got a fascinating look at how wool is processed, learned about the art of cheese-making, and even enjoyed a delicious cheese tasting!
Experiences like these bring learning to life, connecting knowledge with real-world applications. A big thank you to UFS Woolwise for an insightful visit!
